Christopher Baer is a contemporary artist and painter working primarily in large-format oil paint and mixed media on canvas.
Born in 1972 in Washington DC, Baer is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, BFA 1995. He resides in Washington DC and produces work between his studio there and one in rural Virginia.
Presently, Baer is at work developing three series of abstract paintings: Palisades, White on White and Line Theory. In addition, he experiments with familiar subject matter in digital art and monotypes.
